Exclusive Resorts has revealed a new membership option, with an ‘associate’ membership that includes ten days of use per year and one advanced reservation. The price tag is $129 000.

From the Exclusive Resorts site:

The Associate Membership Plan is structured just like our other plans. You pay a one-time Membership Fee, the majority of which is refundable, along with Annual Dues. And, as your needs change, you’ll have the flexibility to upgrade if another available plan better suits your needs.

The team at Luxury Reporter thinks that the trend of offering ‘introductory’ plans of this type will continue. It makes great sense for potential members, who may be understandably wary of handing over as much as a low seven-figure sum to a destination club without having experienced properly what it has to offer.

This pricing is available until December 31, 2007.
