Very well located on the edge of the main plaza in Granada, the Hotel Colonial is tranquil and quite beautiful, with a central courtyard and two small and pleasant pools.
The room was a good size, the internet was good, and the staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The restaurant was not open during my stay, but the hotel is very near to several restaurants.
At around $120, luxury is - again - a relative concept. In comparison with the majority of the accommodation options in Granada, Hotel Colonial is a good choice. It may be worth looking in to the Alhambra, however, which is even more centrally located and significantly more grand.
