Private Escapes has announced new ‘Space available’ reservations, intended to give greater flexibility for members making last minute travel plans.

Space available reservations may be made up to 22 days in advance for resort properties, and up to 15 days in advance for urban properties. Private Escapes has determined that properties vacant 22 days in advance are 85% likely to remain vacant, and by introducing this new class of reservations, the club hopes to increase its overall occupancy rate from 55%. This is obviously in the best interests of the club, as it means that members are deriving more benefit from their memberships. These short notices reservations don’t count against annual usage, and many other property restrictions have also been lifted to encourage members to use un-reserved properties.

The spave available reservations come at a price, though - nightly fees are for $500 for Premiere homes, $750 for Platinum homes and $1,000 for Pinnacle homes.
