Overview
Founded by billionaire Tim Blixseth, Yellowstone Club World is the destination club sister to the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana, an exclusive gated community that includes Bill Gates among its members. Yellowstone Club World is a collection of small and not-so-small resorts around the world, for the exclusive (though not single-family) use of its members. The club also includes two large yachts and several small jets, formerly the private property of Blixseth and now shared with club members. Not all properties are to be made known to the general public, and some of the current locations include an entire island in Turks & Caicos, a 700-year old chateau on 1100 acres just 45 minutes from Paris, and a golf retreat at St Andrews in Scotland.

A quite different proposition from most of the other destination clubs, Yellowstone Club World is more like the world’s most exclusive private club, where it’s more about with whom you will be rubbing shoulders than total privacy.
